Deputy Speaker Hawrami chairs meeting of committee heads

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Hemin Hawrami on 9 December chaired a meeting of the heads of the parliament standing committees.

Deputy Speaker reviewed the process of preparing committee reports, following up on citizens’ requests, and coordinating with the Kurdistan Regional Government according to Parliament’s Internal Rules of Procedure. 

He asked the heads of the committees to ensure regular committee meetings so that bills can be submitted to Parliament’s Presidency and scheduled for their readings.

The chairs of the standing committees gave their views on their working methods and challenges. Parliament Secretary Muna Kahveci also attended the meeting.
