Speaker, Deputy Speaker and Culture Committee express condolences on death of poet Muhammad Omar Usman

The Kurdistan Parliament's Speaker Dr. Rewas Faiq, Deputy Speaker Hemin Hawrami and the Culture Committee expressed their condolences on the death of the poet, Muhammad Omar Usman, known as the 'Autumn General'. Their condolence messages of 23 October are as follows.

Speaker Dr. Rewaz Faiq: "It is with great regret that we learn of the death of the humanist and renowned poet, Muhammad Omar Osman. His unfortunate death is painful news for all of us. On this occasion, I extend my condolences to all the writers and poets of Kurdistan. May his soul rest in peace."

Deputy Speaker Hemin Hawrami: "We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of the poet Muhammad Omar Usman, known as the ‘Autumn General’. A great poet, he enriched the body of Kurdish poetry and literature with just one collection of poetry and a long poem about autumn. On the sad occasion of his death, I extend my condolences to his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace."

The Committee on Culture, Civil Society, Sports and Youth: "The committee express our condolences on the death of poet, Mohammad Omar Usman. He was one of the new Kurdish poets and his death is a great loss to Kurdish poetry. The committee on this sad occasion extends our condolences to the Kurdish literary community and to his esteemed family."
