Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami conveys best wishes for Jezhni Qurban to Peshmerga forces in Prde

10 July 2022 - On the second day of Jezhni Qurban (Eid Al-Adha), Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami visited Kurdistan’s Peshmerga forces on the Prde front, west of Kirkuk, to convey his best wishes for Eid and to look into the security situation and conditions for Peshmerga in the area.

Deputy Speaker Hawrami was welcomed by Commander Nouri Hama Ali, the commander of the front, and the officers and all the Peshmerga. He commended them for their courage in the war against ISIS terrorists, in defence of the people and territory of Kurdistan, and for protecting the constitutional entity of Kurdistan Region.

The Deputy Speaker said that the Kurdistan Parliament is ready to consider any legislative proposal that would serve the Peshmerga forces. He said, "The Peshmerga forces of Kurdistan have proved to be a strong force in protection of Kurdistan and our constitutional status."

Dr. Hawrami then went to the barricades and also met with the brigade under the Ministry of Peshmerga in the area.
