Honourable President Masoud Barzani, Leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party,

On the successful conclusion of your party's 14th congress and your reelection as the party’s leader, I congratulate you, the deputy leaders, members of the Central Committee and all KDP staff and members, and I wish you continued success.

I hope that this congress will advance your work and the political and democratic process in Kurdistan, and that it will encourage greater unity between Kurdistan Region’s political parties for the sake of stability and political harmony, to protect social peace and peaceful coexistence between ethnic and religious components, and for the prosperity of the people of Kurdistan.
