Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami arrives in Moscow for Parliament meetings and Valdai Discussion Club Middle East conference

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 20 February 2022 arrived in Moscow, the Russian capital, at the official invitation of the Valdai Discussion Club for its Middle East conference.

The Valdai Discussion Club and the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences are holding their eleventh Middle East Conference on the theme of “Russia and the Middle East: Strategic Rapprochement and the Intertwinement of Interests”.

On the sidelines of the conference, Deputy Speaker Hawrami will have meetings with officials and participants.

The Deputy Speaker will also visit the State Duma, the lower house of Russia’s federal assembly, to discuss with senior officials strengthening relations between their respective legislatures in terms of legislation and sharing parliamentary knowledge and expertise.
