Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami meets with UK’s Deputy Consul General Mr. Jamie Hamill

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 20 October 2022 welcomed the UK’s Deputy Consul General in Kurdistan Region, Mr. Jamie Hamill.

They discussed the political situation in Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the wider region, and the latest developments in the Iraqi Government formation process.

They agreed on importance of coming to solutions through dialogue. Deputy Speaker Hawrami said that the Iraqi Constitution should be the basis for resolving disagreements.

They also discussed bilateral ties in areas of mutual interest.
