Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami welcomes Assistant Minister Zhu Rui of Chinese Communist Party Central Committee's International Department

Kurdistan Parliament Deputy Speaker Dr. Hemin Hawrami on 13 February 2023 welcomed Assistant Minister Zhu Rui of the Communist Party of China’s Central Committee International Department, together with a high-level delegation.

The Assistant Minister of the International Department of the Chinese Communist Party’s Central Committee was accompanied by China’s Ambassador to Iraq Cui Wei, the Acting Consul General Liu Zhenyong and other senior officials.

Deputy Speaker Hawrami and Assistant Minister Zhu Rui stressed the importance of continuing to develop political, economic and academic bilateral relations. Dr. Hawrami said that Kurdistan Region can learn a great deal from China’s successful experience of economic development and rapid progress.

Their discussion also covered sharing parliamentary expertise.
